We had a wonderful little birthday party for Baby J last weekend. We opted for a small gathering this time around, with my entire family from California in attendance to help us celebrate. As I mentioned before, when it comes to party planning, I tend to pick colors over traditional themes. I thought red, white and blue would be perfect for a summer party. [And yes, I have a little obsession with circles.] More photographs here.

[decorations]
[favors: books + personalized bookplates for kids & box of sweet treats for adults]

[thank you cards]

They are all adorable. What a lot of thought and time and attention you must have put into the party.
Hope it was a hit!

Adorable as usual. I'm seriously considering hiring you to design my birthday party.
Your printer must be great to get such lovely colours. I think I'll start looking for a new one. Mine's getting a bit old.
Thanks for sharing.
