Isn't it nice when "work" feels like "play"? Except when you have to stand in line at the post office with two young children to mail off a package on the first day of the USPS rate changes and everyone is confused about which form you need to fill out for international packages so they tear up your first form only to find out that was the one you needed to fill out. Oh, but I digress. [And I'm not really complaining because I like the folks at my neighborhood post office and I feel bad they've been bombarded with so many changes.] Anyhow, "work" required me to drop off a package in the Pearl District earlier this week, so I decided to make it into an outing. We met up with our favorite friends for a snack at Pearl Bakery + played at a nearby park. Fun times for all.
I've also been playing around with some fabric that has been sitting in my studio. These will be transformed into pencil + cups, fabric + cards, wall + pockets and pin + pockets over the next few months.
I'm loving all the spring + summer colors--makes me happy just looking at this stack of fabric.
As I mentioned in my previous post, the shoppe will be updated on Monday, 5.21.07 @ 11am PST. [Crossing my fingers for no glitches this time around.] I'll be selling my new stationery collection--gift + tags, gift + labels, note cards--and hopefully a few other handmade goods. The shoppe will be closed May 31-June 14 and new wall + pockets or pin + pockets will be available late June. Shop announcements can also be found here.
P.S. Thank you to everyone who helped clean out my studio by participating in the tag sale.
