I recently mentioned my new found love of Tastebud's Montreal-style bagels. After eating all the bagels we picked up at the farmers market in one day I thought I was going to have to wait another week before getting my next fix. But then I discovered Tastebud's All You Can Eat Pizza on Sundays. I don't know about you but I generally steer clear of buffets and all-you-can-eat restaurants since the focus tends to be on quantity over quality. I had a hunch that Tastebud's "pizza buffet" might be different.
The restaurant has a lovely outdoor area and since we were the first patrons to arrive [I wasn't sure if there was going to be the long lines that we're accustomed to over at Apizza Scholls], we snagged a table on the patio.
A few minutes after we were seated they brought out two different salads, a caesar with bagel croutons and a spring green salad tossed with lemon + olive oil.
Five minutes later several piping hot pizzas were served. I was impressed at the steady rotation of pizzas coming out of the kitchen. The fiddlehead pizza was really good.
But I have to say my favorite was the sausage since it had a little bit of heat to it.
I hope the next time we go back we will be able to check out their homemade desserts!
